Office Avalanche: How to Build a Better Chain Reaction

A practical guide to choosing your three hits and disturbing more office objects.

Start with a crowded group
Each round gives you three hits. Tap an object near other furniture so the shockwave can push more than one object at a time.

What earns points?
Each newly disturbed object earns 100 points. Strong impacts can add a small bonus. Hitting the same isolated box repeatedly is usually less useful than reaching untouched objects.

Use the first hit to observe
Notice which objects move together. The second hit can reach a group that the first shockwave missed. Save your last hit for an untouched cluster.

Why does a room play differently?
Moving objects collide with neighbors. Their positions and velocity change after each hit, so timing matters. This is an arcade collision simulation rather than an engineering-grade physics model.

Try it yourself
Play Office Avalanche and compare the number of objects disturbed across two rounds. Change one choice at a time.
