How to play
Every move slides all tiles as far as they go in one direction. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one tile with double the value. After each valid move a new 2 or 4 appears in a random empty cell.
Keep a corner
Pick one corner and build your largest numbers there. Swiping in only two or three directions keeps that corner stable and leaves room to manoeuvre.
